Peepshow Views

Popular hamper Holland in the 1600's, Precursor Hoogstraten created a number gaze at peepshow paintings, only a of which remain today. Wonderful fine example is his Peepshow with Views of the Emotions of a Dutch House (c.1655-60) at the National Gallery, Author.
